Jill Sugita-Pappas

For over 20 years, I've worked at the leading edge of marketing technology, not observing shifts, but building before the playbook existed.
 
Every wave taught me the same lesson: technology doesn't just change how you market. It changes how buyers experience your brand.
 
Buyers now arrive having already had conversations with AI. Not your brand. The funnel collapsed. AI is the new authority. The companies who win will architect the entire experience around that reality, and run it leaner than ever before.
 
That's my work: helping companies redesign GTM by integrating brand, customer experience, and demand generation into a single model that scales revenue, drives operational efficiency, and earns trust before the first touchpoint, and earns the next step after every one.

  • Rimini Street — First to embed Generative AI across strategy, creative, and activation that compressed a multi-month campaign cycle into 5 days, establishing an AI-native operating model at scale, and driving NAMER to 127% of pipeline target.
     

  • Fujitsu — Drove 5,700% revenue growth and 57% ROAS improvement through digital marketing transformation and global brand modernization during the pandemic.
     

  • Oracle Cloud & Developers — Grew developer trial adoption 7X by reframing Oracle's developer narrative, neutralizing deep-seated Java criticism, and shifting to a product-led growth model with bold rebranding and integrated developer marketing.
     

  • Oracle Big Data & Analytics — Halted industry criticism, drove 205% hardware and 402% software YOY growth, and elevated Oracle to Top 3 by transforming GTM from point products to solutions.

  • ​6Connex — Launched the industry's first virtual experience event platform, creating a new category and martech tool ahead of its time.
     

  • Philips Mobile Computing — Part of the tiger team that pioneered eBusiness when retail channel conflict made it radioactive, building the model before the industry had consensus.
     

  • CKS — Joined a pioneering interactive agency working with Apple, Fujitsu, eBay, and Yahoo to commercialize the internet before anyone had a name for what we were building.
